Natagpuang patay ang isang 37 anyos na ginang sa isang madamong bahagi ng Saint Joseph the Worker Church sa kahabaan ng Old Canlubang Golf Course, Barangay Canlubang, Calamba City, Laguna kahapon Pebrero-1.
Kinilala ang biktima na si Julie Ann Lofranco, mula Zamboanga Del Sur.
Ayon sa imbestigasyon, natagpuan ng security guard ng Emirates Security Agency ang bangkay na walang saplot, habang ito ay nagpapatrol sa area pasado alas-7:00 ng umaga.
Agad namang sinabi nito sa isang residente ang tungkol sa nakita.
Sa kabilang banda, wala umanong saksak o tama ng bala sa katawan ang bangkay, hindi rin nawawala ang cellphone, pera, pitaka at ang iniwang bag na nakabukas na may laΒmang pasaporte.
Samantaala, ang biktima na si Lofranco ay ang ikalawang biktima na ng rape sa nasabing lugar.
Matatandaang isa ring Japanese Trader ang pinatay doon.
