A resident of Las Navas, Northern Samar, who recently graduated with a Criminology degree died in a stabbing incident as he tried to follow the suspect who allegedly stole his mobile phone in Malate, Manila.
The victim was reportedly stabbed twice with an ice pick and was physically assaulted inside the house where the alleged suspect ran.
Ambon jumped from the 2nd floor of the building but was assaulted after the escape as the residents of the area flocked into him with the knowledge that he was the real suspect of the robbery.
The barangay officials tied him up in the streets despite his dying state. His family posted that he was naked after the altercation.
The victim was Manila to find a job while waiting for his upcoming licensure exam.
