Bumuhos ang luha sa araw ng libing ng magkasintahan na sina Bernard De Mesa Jr., 22-anyos at Michaella Parel 20-anyos.
Ang magkasintahan, parehong nasawi matapos umanong sumemplang ang sinasakyan nilang motorsiklo sa kalsada ng Barangay Pilar, Sta. Maria, Pangasinan noong July 30 mismong kaarawan ni Bernard.
Nagpaluha sa mga nakiramay ang matamis na pagmamahalan ng magkasintahan na dinala nila hanggang sa kabilang buhay. Nagdesisyon ang pamilya ng dalawa na ipakasal sila bago ihatid sa huling hantungan.
Binasbasan ang dalawa ng sakramento ng kasal. Mag-aapat na taon nang magkasintahan si Bernard at Michaella bago sila masawi sa aksidente. Noon pa man, ramdam na raw ng kaanak nila ang umaapaw nilang pagmamahalan.
Samantala, hindi pa rin kumbinsido ang pamilya ng mga biktima na self accident ang dahilan ng pagkamatay nila. Wala kasi gaanong gasgas ang motorsiklong sinakyan ng magkasintahan. Nanawagan sila ng masusing imbestigasyon.
