Sa viral video na kuha ng netizen na si Rainford Gomez Relator sa Banga, Aklan, makikitang hindi nakasuot ang lalaki ng standard protective helmet na posibleng naging violation nito.
Agad namang pinatayo ng officer sa pagkakaluhod ang lalaki pero mukhang hindi pa rin ito nakaligtas sa ticket violation.
Ilang netizens naman ang nahabag sa motorista at nag-offer na tutulungan ito sa pagbabayad ng kanyang ticket.
Ayon sa Motorcycle Helmet Act of 2009, kinakailangang magsuot ang lahat ng motorcycle riders at back riders ng standard protective helmets. Ayon pa sa nasabing batas, tanging full-face at J-type helmets na pasado sa specifications ng DTI ang pwedeng gamitin ng mga motorista.

According to the said law, only full-face and J-type helmets that passed the DTI specifications can be used by motorists.
